အနာဂတ်မြန်မာပြည့်ဝမ်းစာငါးမွေးမြူရေးစီမံကိန်းမှ တစ်ပိုင်တစ်နိုင်ငါးမွေးမြူခြင်း၊ အခြေခံလူ့အာဟာရ၊ ပတ် ဝန်းကျင်နှင့် တစ်ကိုယ်ရည်သန့်ရှင်းခြင်းအလေ့အကျင့်ကောင်းများနှင့် ကျား/မ အခန်းကဏ္ဍဆိုင်ရာ ဆရာဖြစ်သင်တန်း ကို ရှမ်းပြည်နယ်အရှေ့ပိုင်း ကျိုင်းတုံမြို့တွင် ကျင်းပခဲ့သည်။ တက်ရောက်လာသည့် သင်တန်းသားများမှ ကွင်းဆင်းပြီး လက်တွေ့ပြသမှုများဖြစ်သည့် ငါးသားပေါက်များထုပ်ပိုးခြင်း၊ သယ်ယူပို့ဆောင်ခြင်း၊ ငါးနမူနာတိုင်းတာခြင်း၊ ငါးသား ပေါက်အမျိုးမျိုးလေ့လာခြင်းနှင့် ငါးဖမ်းပိုက်ကွန်အသုံးပြုမှုများကို သင်ကြားလေ့လာခဲ့သည်။ ထို့အပြင် ကျိုင်းတုံရှိ ငါးသား‌ ပေါက်စခန်းတစ်ခု၏ လုပ်ငန်းတပ်ဆင်ကိရိယာများအသုံးပြုပုံနှင့် လုပ်ငန်းကောင်းမွန်စွာလည်ပတ်ပုံများကို သွားရောက် လေ့လာခဲ့သည်။ သွားရောက်လေ့လာခဲ့သည့် သားပေါက်စခန်းသည် ၂၀၂၀ ခုနှစ်တွင် WorldFish Myanmar ၏ နည်း ပညာပံ့ပိုးမှုများကိုရရှိထားပြီးဖြစ်သည်။ မိတ်ဖက်အဖွဲ့အစည်း ၄ ဖွဲ့ အရုဏ်ဦး (AYO) လူမှုဖွံ့ဖြိုးရေးအသင်း, BRAC Myanmar, ကရုဏာ (KMSS) လူမှုစည်းလုံးညီညွတ်ရေးအသင်းနှင့် မြန်မာနိုင်ငံငါးလုပ်ငန်းအဖွဲ့ချုပ် (MFF) မှ ဝန်ထမ်းများ စုစုပေါင်း ၂၁ ဦး (မ ၈ ဦးအပါ) တက်ရောက်ခဲ့သည်။ 

ကျိုင်းတုံမြို့တွင် ကျင်းပသည့် လူတွေ့ဆရာဖြစ်သင်တန်းကို ထိရောက်အောင်မြင်စွာပို့ချနိုင်ခဲ့ပြီး၊ မိသားစုများ အတွက် အလွယ်တကူရရှိနိုင်မည့်အာဟာရပြည့်အစားအစာများစားသုံးခြင်းနှင့် အပိုဝင်ငွေရရှိစေရန် ကွင်းဆင်းဝန်ထမ်း များက ငါးမွေးမြူရေးမိသားစုများ၊ စီမံကိန်းအဖွဲ့ဝင်များအား ပြန်လည်လက်ဆင့်ကမ်း ပို့ချပေးသွားမည်ဖြစ်သည်။

Essential training on Small-Scale Aquaculture (SSA) technique and improved human nutrition, training of trainer (ToT) to new staff members of Activity partners: 

The Feed the Future Burma Fish for Livelihoods project conducted training of trainer (ToT) sessions on small-scale aquaculture (SSA) for improved human nutrition, WASH, and Gender sessions in Kengtung Township, Eastern Shan. All participants learned the practical demonstration of field implementation on fish seed packaging and transporting fish sampling, different types of fish feed, and the use of cast nets. Moreover, one of the hatcheries in Kengtung was visited to see how its facilities operating and management are functioning. The hatchery received technical assistance from WorldFish Myanmar in FY 2020. The four Activity partners from Ar Yone Oo Social Development, BRAC Myanmar, KMSS, and MFF attended, and 21 (8 women) partner staff received the ToT. 

The in-person training of ToT in Kengtung Township was delivered safely, efficiently, and effectively. Moreover, the field staff of F4L partners will in turn train SSA HHs and Activity participants (direct and indirect beneficiaries) to supply affordable nutritious food for their families and earn extra household income.
